Fresh Air Fridays
Planned for every last Friday of the month and are a chance to enjoy the woodland, learn new practical skills and be with others.
Held in a relaxed and supportive environment, come and immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings of Brown Rock woodland, with 20 acres of mature woodland, grassland and a market garden.
Sessions are practical and seasonal, including habitat creation, woodland management, surveys, crafts and woodland wellbeing.
It is also important to us at Outdoor College that we take time to 'Be' in nature and so sessions will also include activities that help you to slow down and tune into nature.
No experience necessary; all training and equipment will be provided.
10am-3pm. The day includes a shared lunch; please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.
The programme is flexible - if you have an idea for a session, or a skill you’d like to share with others, we’d love to hear from you!
Our intention is for Fresh Air Friday sessions to be somewhere to come and be part of the interconnected community at Brown Rock. We ask that you first register you details using the link below.
Once you have registered you will be sent details on how you can then sign up to the dates/activities we have planned.
- Fri, 27 MayBrown RockCome and join us for a day of mindful whittling and simple campfire cooking in the beautiful Brown Rock woodland. As we find our inner hunter-gatherer we might even take a wander to Cadbury Camp, a place people have been in relationship with for over a 1000 years.
